How do you like the cinestill emulsions? Am interested in trying but no experience with daytime ones, only 800T
I've shot both Cinestill 50 and 400 and really like them both. Here's a few examples of Cinestill 50D shot with the Samsung AF Slim Zoom. I have more examples scattered in the Film Images thread.

Very nice colors, and sharpness. Are these lab processed or home?
On to the HP5+! This is from a slightly expired roll sent to me by grahmgibson as part of the one picture project. At first I thought it was a scratch but there are no marks on the negative and none of the other images on the roll have any markings like it.
It was taken late in the afternoon, as the sun was filtering through the trees. It was both unseasonably warm, the sun was quite bright and being just above the forty fifth parallel, low in the sky. I might be full of hooey but I'm going with it's a shaft of light. Or it caught it from Huss' M6.

I don't use that on/off switch (and DAG said not to because Leica's awesome design apparently causes wear on the shutter plunger which can make taking pics balky). But it is weird there is a boot up time - what other camera of that era or before needs time to boot up? My F3 is instantly on. My Minolta XK - two decades older! - is instantly on.
I just leave the power switch on and it is only activated if the shutter is cocked - then a tap springs the meter to life. Like a camera decades older...
Huss, are you saying you don't use the on/off switch on the R9 or the M7? I've owned an R9 for a few months now and was wondering if your were suggesting leaving the camera an any other mode other than "off" when not using the camera.
A few from my recent B&W pursuit. I'm fresh out of C-41 chemicals (expired, see the third shot below) and I've been trying out more B&W films that have been collecting some space in the fridge. I've been using the Cinestill Df96 B&W monobath for the development. Makes it real easy to develop and doesn't take much room under the sink where I keep my other film chems.

Of note... IMO the Cron 50 v5 is wildly unappreciated nowadays. I shoot with it much more than my Lux 50 because the handling is perfect - focus throw and weighting is perfect, it always seems to nail focus, size is great, sharpness and boo-kay are just lovely.
