Love the lens too. Has some character and I quite like the 45 focal length. It's a funleader conversion in silver, and perfectly calibrated to the RF. Handles great. If I had to nitpick I'd say the aperture ring is a little close to the focusing ring, but not a big deal. I'm looking for a 35 to pair with it, but they're harder to find.

Did you expose at 400 and pushed 2 stops in development?
Great examples by the way
Thanks Rusty. I shot it @ 1600 and pushed 2 stops. I did have to tweak the colors a little as there were a few more casts than normal. But I think it worked quite well.
A few from a camera that rightfully gets a good amount of love - the Fuji GW690II. With its dim viewfinder/rangefinder and equivalent field-of-view/depth-of-field to a fixed 40-ish mm/1.7 lens on 24x36 35mm I figure it's more of a Texas Canonet than a Texas Leica, but what do I know. Also, if anyone has ever found a block diagram for the lens on these cameras, please share it. In my efforts to find out more about the 90/3.5, I called Fujifilm customer service (probably in NJ) and made my way through the telephone tree before some old-timer tech laughed at me and told me to go away.
The things a person is willing to endure to get a slice of pizza!
That's a great photo. I think it was George Barr who wrote, "Good photographs tell stories; great photographs make you ask questions." This one certainly raises some questions. :-)

Thanks! It was inspired by a drawing that I commissioned a friend of mine to make...which was inspired by one of Charles Dana Gibson's 'Gibson Girl' drawings (with a lot of re-imagining).
To my knowledge, the drawing isn't necessarily based on anywhere real, but I figured, I'd recreate it IRL.

Patrick Joust seems to use the V1 pretty regularly to great effect...but he could literally use anything and his photos would be sublime.
I've been following his work with the Mamiya C330, since I have that camera as well; he's great. I love his nighttime shots with Ektar and other color films; looking at his photos always opens my mind to possibilities I hadn't considered.

Wow, these look great! I have the possibility to get version 1 for a good deal. Wondering if I should just get it. . .
Some GW690 V1 have an actual bulb mode, rather than T on the V2/3. So if that is important to you, and if that particular V1 has B, then it might be one reason to grab it.

Great shots, and love the pizza one! The VF in the GW690s are prone to haze but that can be cleaned (by someone who knows how). Once done I don't find them dim. Of course the rf blob is not Leica-like but totally useable.
I got rid of my GW690III because it was the only medium format camera that consistently gave me fat rolls, no matter how careful I was loading it.
But the lens on it was awesome.
