So I spooled up 3 rolls of color negs and put onto the patterson reels. Thought it had only been a couple months on the chems. Nope, no images. Kicked myself for wasting 3 rolls. Then I notice I had fresh chems to mix...doh! Apparently I forgot that the chems were old and never mixed up new ones. Uhhhhgggg, I need to stick to B&W. I rarely shoot color anymore.

Huss, on the AF slim, are you shooting the 35-70 zoom, the dual 28/48 lens or the fixed 35/3.5? Your images are sharp!
Hey Jon!
Either the 35-70 zoom which is called the AF Slim Zoom, or the original AF Slim which has the 35/3.5 fixed.
I think I mentioned that on my photo captions. I have not tried the 28/48 version and it is very strange that I cannot find a single user review anywhere. One immediate downside of it is it does not have a lens shield to protect the front element, but a clear protective ‘filter’ that is permanently in place. If that is all scratched up from protecting the lens, then the pics will be compromised.
Some on the internet claim the AF Slim is a rebadged Konica Big Mini. It is not, it just has similar styling cues. The Konica can lag while trying to achieve focus as the shutter will only fire if the camera thinks the image is in focus. The Samsung will take a pic no matter what - if you don’t care that the focus confirmation light is lit, neither does the camera. This makes it very responsive.
Also the lens etc is different.
I’ll mention it again, the AF Slim R is not an improved version of the AF Slim, but a dumbed down cheaper version with different lens and shutter.

Thanks for the heads up on this. Been awhile since I have played much with P&S's. I sold most of mine probably too soon (my fixed lens ones) before the market exploded. The one that stands out to me was a rebadged Leica Minilux II, the Minolta Freedom Escort (something like that). The lens was SUPER sharp and was hands down better than my old Yashica T5 (another I sold before the bubble, waaaaaay too cheap). Anyways, thanks again. This has me perusing the bay and looking at what is available.
A few more from last weeks trip to the Oregon coast.

The only oter person I saw on the north side of the rock out cropping. There were other people on the south side but the high tides made it difficult to get around it:
I'm pleased the little 28 CS renders detail so well:
This was taken with the 50 2.5 Color Skopar LTM. For some reason it has the most views of any of the other photos from the set. Maybe people think it's Huss and Riley:
Is the grain from the age of the film or agitation? You could have called it, "Here comes another atmospheric river" I could almost feel the wind blowing. Very nice.
