Hey Bob - you’re really making those film cameras sing. Fantastic composition as always and lovely colors. No snow in Minnesota this year or did you move?
Hey, thanks so much. I'm still exploring this film thing . . . different films, develoipers, etc. Having fun though.
No snow in Minnesota. It's so strange . . . very little ice on the lakes too. Too little for ice fishing and lots of open water. We'll probably pay in January/February . . .

That’s really strange with the weather though. Ten years I lived there I probably remember one time when winter was really short and we saw signs of spring in February. But don’t think ever remember this close to January being so un-Minnesota like. Am sure not too many people are complaining but I agree if the second half of the season decides to compensate. 🥶 rji2goleez wrote:

Dec 26 I adopted (now) Riley from the Downey animal shelter. He had been there two months, and his time was up. He had 72 hours left. I had lost my beloved Peppers on August 3rd and had felt that aching ever since. Riley was not to replace Peppers, but saving him for Peppers.
It's heartbreaking that these shelters are overflowing so please adopt and save a life.
Camera of choice? Samsung AF Slim Zoom (w Fuji Press 400 @ 100) as it was going to be a handful and I just needed something to P&S, as well as the fact I was going to hand it over to someone to take pics of us. When you do that the only explanation you want to give is 'point and shoot!'.
Here is the handing over. In the few days since I have had him he has been a pure joy. Friendly to everyone - dogs and people, perfectly behaved.

And first shots with the Reto UltraWide n Slim - arguably the greatest fixed lens wide angle camera that you can get in murky blue ever made - with ancient Fuji Super G 800.

The thing with the Reto UW&S is it is so light n flimsy - but I guess that is not an appealing name - you really have to concentrate on holding it steady. It really is susceptible to camera shake. And it feels like it's life span is maybe 10 rolls of film but I'm hoping for more!
Some 28 lux shots from a recent couple rolls. It's a little harder to shoot than 35 I think since you have to get closer. But when you do, I really like the context you get with 28mm. Portra 400/800 and one 800T.
