Thanks guys! My kids are getting pretty used to the camera now. My daughter often says "daddy take my picture".
Thanks Fred. I love family photos on film! Yours look very special. My wife loves them too (which helps my collection keep growing haha). I put a battery in my MP yesterday and it was telling me the wrong exposure (getting tricked by a window) so I may take the battery out or just ignore what it reads unless I really need it. Would be great if there was a way to turn the internal meter on and off.
I had the MP for a while- I never liked it- The light meter always bothered me and felt like a distraction.
So instead of taking the battery out I sold it and bought the M-A. I much prefer the M-A and just using my phone as a light meter. I have yet to find my phone off at all. If I may snag a top of camera light meter if I feel I want something slightly quicker but I found if I just meter as soon as I get somewhere- The settings don't change much-
Great shots though man- Its really incredible that the pictures you take on film, you really can't replicate and the aesthetic is just so damn nice!

Thanks Rusty. If they made a M-A BP I would've bought it!
Wait, don't you have two BP M4s? Isn't that the same thing?
Leica film Ms are the Taco Bell of photography. Everything on the menu is made out of the same four things, but we are convinced we are buying something different when we make a selection.

Yes don’t rub it in! I stupidly placed bids for two m4's on the same day and wouldn't you know it I won both. Now gotta sell at least one!

Have to say - The film sub forum has been so awesome and is now the first place I start browsing on FM. Guess the wait was worth it for many (me included). May need to soon rename it to “Film is Alive Forum”

It's because we have fun here. There are no future advancements coming that will move photography forward. No matter how little or how much we spent, we are all using the same 'sensors'. Some of us even use way expired 'sensors' with no expectations of outcomes!
There is something very satisfying and rewarding about it, and it is also very democratizing as it is not brand specific. If it can use film, it can be here, no matter who makes it.

Absolutely true! Once we remove the pressure of chasing the "newest and greatest," what's left is the joy of shooting and sharing the experience. This board is dedicated to that essence.

Those are nice colors out of such an old film!
Gotta be honest, I am really surprised. I shot two more rolls in my F3p, one was perfect, the other the first few images were contaminated it seems. They had crud and the colours were naff so it seems the result of age/storage.

Understandable. I have problems with age and storage.
