If it's the image in this link, then Huss guessed correctly. The sun was shining right on her face, and it was around 30 minutes before sunset. I made sure she opened her eyes before taking the photo. I intended to shoot at the standard film speed, but the film ended up being a bit overexposed by about half a stop but in my defense, I didn't have a light meter at the time as my MP was battery-less.
I do like the warmth and character. I normally shoot Portra 400 @ 200 as there's so much latitude in this film. Nicely done!

Very cool. Thanks for sharing! I am using a Fuji as well.
I recently tried the Valoi Easy 35 for scanning 35mm. It works really well for digitizing negs and keeping them flat. I switched from an Epson V750 to an inverted tripod with a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro with an Artograph light pad and cut masks for 6x6/6x7, but for 35mm scanning the Easy35 is incredible.
All of these images are Grrrreat! Thanks to everyone for posting them.
Would it be too much to ask for everyone to list some more information in their posts? I'm thinking it would be great to know:
a) camera/lens/exposure
b) emulsion
c) digitization method
Who is developing Color (C-41) at home? I have a good bit of experience with developing B&W, and I'm wondering what color kits/developers you are using. I am really enjoying the photos on this thread!
