So far are you liking vintage lenses (SR, rigid etc) on film or more modern lenses? Just curious.
I've tried older and modern lenses and just like with digital, I think they have their place depending on the subject.
I wanted to test how the Rigid works since it came back from surgery but have also shot a roll with the Leica 35/1.4 FLE and really like how it looks on film.
First roll of 25 yr old Neopan 1600 shot in the Nikon LiteTouch AF. This camera is DX only, but it only has ISO settings for 100, 200, 400 and 1000. Anything DX coded differently than that is allocated one of those settings. Weird thing is it is all over the place - for instance 1600 is not rated 1000 which is the next closest so seems logical, but is rated at 400!
Anyway, so I picked the little Nikon because it is tiny, has a fantastic 28mm lens, and would give the film 2 extra stops. The roll loaded in my MP is being shot at three over at ISO 200, which looking at the results below, seems like it would be a lot better. I'll see after I develop that.
