They do, they just don't realize it. those cute utes? Honda CR-V, Toy Rav-4 etc - hatch backs. They just don't realize it but would only accept them when the mfgs gave them worse handling and fuel economy by making them look like an SUV...

After this last cross country trip (Oregon to Pennsylvania and back) in our 2014 CR-V, the wind was a major issue. We were blown all around and at times lost as much as five miles per gallon fighting headwinds. Wish we had bought a Crosstour.

I love/loved all the little hatchbacks you could get in Europe. Everyone made them. But basically the only one that made it to the US was the Golf.

When I moved west and met my sweetie, she had a Westmoreland Golf, then we had a 1991 Golf. The last one was a 2003 20th Anniversary GTI, then after that was a series of Hondas. Love that bright yellow GTI!

I've always been partial to VW Jetta Sportwagen's mysel
I got a 2014 Diesel-gate Sportwagen to replace an old SAAB 9-5 in 2019. 5 year old car with under 30k miles on it and a factory warranty on most of the drivetrain because of the settlement. Drove it from DC to LA and it absolutely ate up the Rockies at 40mpg.
But yeah, buggy little things that one would never find on a Japanese car. AC has to be recharged every year despite it being tested twice as fully functioning. Moonroof that leaks. Silly things like that. But it's been great for a family of four.

Did a lot of scanning recently since I got my macro lens in a while ago.
I still struggle a bit with post processing, but I feel like I'm improving!

If you have LightRoom, get negativelabpro. Super product. If you want pm me one of your raw files and I will run it through so you can see.
I do have that! First time using that actually for the photos I posted.
I think the roll of Cinestill 800T I had just got fairly poorly exposed; since the colors and halation didn't come out at all.
What I also noticed is that the film curled quite a bit, so getting a flat field for scanning proved difficult. You can see the sharpness fall off a bit in the sides of the images because of that.
This is from the roll of Ilford HP5 and I think the results are better there:
