Three consecutive 35mm frames taken handheld, arranged as a panoramic triptych. Nikon FM2n, AI Nikkor 50mm f/1.8S, Kentmere Pan 400, developed in LegacyPro L110 at 1:31 for 5.5 minutes.
The Kodak Portra 160vc 220 I used expired in 2008. Funny thing initially I thought - oh 2008, that’s not that long ago! - then I realized that was 15 years ago. That by all accounts was not refridgerated.
I wanted to shoot my Crown Graphic so I grabbed something lying around the house for a couple shots. Lenses used were a Kodak Ektar 152mm and a 7 1/2 inch Paragon Anistigmat. I don't know if anybody feels the same as I do about scanning a negative and then printing on printer looks very different than a digital converted to b&w and printed. I printed both of these 4x6 and they look so much richer than they do here.
These 2 shots taken about 16 hours from each other around Portland, OR. El Gacho Steak House in downtown Portland, also Ski Bowl tubing on Mt Hood.
First is Ilford Delta 3200 with Steel Rim
Second is Kodak Ektachrome 100 with 50 Sum
Both shot with Lieca MP. Not sure what happend with both of these rolls of film but man I sure do love The Kodak and the Delta 3200. Out of 70 plus shots, 50-60 are true keepers. More so from a family perspective but man I love film. These colors can't be achieved IMO on digital.
No post, straight scans. I had to go +2 ev or meter for the blue sky with the heavy snow and bright conditions with the Ektacrhome. Luckily plus 2 was the right call all day.
