some sharp and intense images buddy.....I don't recall having seen an eagle so focused on the photographer
FWIW, I swear I posted to this yesterday, but interruptions may have gotten me
Thanks Dave. I'm happy to know you weren't intentionally ignoring me
I appreciate the kind words. I'd really like to know what I did to capture this guys attention so well. I didn't realize how intent he was on staring at me til I got home and looked at the files.
Great stuff...you've really got the eye and the technique for the birds. @ 700mm, I am amazed that you were able to get as much as you did in the frames. The DOF and detail are awesome. Talk about "Tack sharp". These were with your MKIII, yes? Don't see any AF problems here. What lens were you using?
I think several of these are of publishable quality, no doubt. I can see a large format coffee table book in your future. I can always say I knew Tony when we shot U2s at Beale AFB - way back before he got famous.

Thanks Ron > I was using the Mark III, the 500 IS with a 1.4x giving me a FL 700mm I'll start working on that coffee book.
Don't worry if I become famous I'll still give you my autograph
Thank you very much. I'm really astonished at the amount of positive feedback on these shots. I felt they were pretty darn good > but wasn't sure how the viewing audience would feel Nice to know others really enjoyed something I captured.
