I think this may be the last of the Bald Eagles shots from my winter trip. I was saving this last series for a rainy day PP day. Well it didn't rain, but I did it anyway and here they are.
Canon 1D Mark III
EF 500 IS with 1.4x = 700mm
Tripod Mounted
Wow Anthony! He really seems locked in on you. Great stuff here. I like them all, but #4 doesn't have any wings clipped and #1 could certainly be "fixed" so that the wing tips aren't "merged" along the left side.
Powerful images, first two are excellent. I will give you credit on these, that eagle never once took his eye off of you man That makes these work so well. Mixed emotions on some of the crops but the eye contact connects very well. Well done PP on the tonal range of the feathers, lots of detail and plenty of depth in the contrast................. Good job buddy!
Nice work Anthony! You sit around moping that you don't have any good stuff and it turns out you have these! Wonderful stuff! Did you bang your head?
Maybe if you could pry that tc off we could see the whole bird? Great job on the PP. Now if you can only learn how to save and file and not loose the exif you will be set. (ctl-shift-s, then choose file size)
Anthony, WOW these are all brilliantly taken, Great job on the Sunny Day PP as well.
Thanks Chad. I think this may have been the best take off shots I took on my trips up North. So decided to save em for a rainy day........... Or not rainy
Excellent job, Anthony, in capturing, and in post processing. These are really spectacular shots, the look, the feather detail, the color, and the crisp eyes really make the difference. Clean images, as well. What a difference from some early shots of yours! Well done my friend.
