Congratulation Sahid and ziyadj. Like Paul, I am happy to see completed conversions. And to Paul, thank you, thank you.
Lemme tell you something - You might need a pipe wrench to unmount it now.
Can you imagine a single lens was able to push out the two worries of togs, light and sharpness. Now, if only there is a lens that can help us with our composition.
Paul, you will never have to worry about me trying to convert this lens and making a business out of it. I will strictly use this for my everyday photography, and will even try it at some weddings. Now that I know it's true powers, the grim reaper may have to pry the lens out of my hands.
Leon, I must say... I got a bit jealous seeing your images on earlier posts on this thread, and how much you actually enjoyed using the lens. So I blame your wonderful images for leaving my wallet a little lighter.
Thanks Khidhir. Yes this lens is amazing in low light. I celebrated with a glass of red wine. The background is Hong Kong skyline, hard to see with the Bokeh .
i've just seen this one is aluminium and they sell the brass one too. which one is better for drilling?
From the photo, you can tell that it is a flanged adapter. You will have to file the flange off. Not fun, but in this regard you are lucky that it is aluminum.
Ok. quick question. i'm from spain and english is not my main language and i'm not sure what is the flange you're refering to.
i've been comparing the photos in your how-to and the ones in the item description in ebay and i would like to know if the mark in the this photo is what has to be removed.
