I usually don't have time to enter the Monthy Assignment but I thought one of the photos i took this week for the Weekly Assignment might work well here. This is a view of the just installed and illuminated "art installation" by Chris Burden in between the old building of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and it's new expansion building. It consists of 202 vintage Los Angeles Lamp Posts arranged in rows from smallest to tallest and back again. There are a couple of other views as part of my Weekly Assignment posting. It certainly represents the technology of bringing light to the darkness. At the far end of the row is a modern Lamp Post.
