Glass appears flawless. The lens hood has very minor, typical, scuffs. One (approx 3/8") very small, very thin scratch on lens barrel-hard to find. No pictures-the small scratch is hard to photograph.
Very sharp and functionally better (Canon replaced a handful of parts) than new. Only selling because I just bought the Nikkor 24-70 for my D3. If you want a 24-70 F2.8 lens to USE you will be very happy.
