"flying"... riiighhhtt. You had someone throw him off your roof, didn't you?
All kidding aside... that's a *great* shot!
Thanks Shaun
We shot him out of a canon, I mean I shot him with a canon, I really mean I took his photograph

Handheld no less!! Wonderful capture -and a whole lot of bird. Kinda looks like someone kicked the king off the throne, and all of a sudden he has to fly.
Thanks Frank,
I wonder if they taste like turkey

What an incredible shot and hand held - well done. I'm amazed those tiny wings can keep that amount of bird airborne.
Pierre.
Thanks Pierre
They drop like a rock, it's amazing how quickly they come down, sort of like a fighter jet with a flame out

Nice capture. Can't say I've ever seen a pic of them doing this before. Too bad you didn't get him flying through the air with his tail feathers fanned out though

Are you trying to tell us that peacocks actually fly. Well, I'll be. You do learn something new every day. What a great shot, and glad you were blessed to be able to see this, and glad you are talented enough to capture it. Well done.
