For free (well, I ask that you pay shipping, paypal is fine).
A Petri FT film camera with Petri brand 55mm f1.8 lens.
The catch--the camera is locked up and I cannot get it to do anything. The lens works fine and the glass is in good shape, it had a UV filter on it. The whole thing needs a good cleaning, there are a few spots on the camera (film winder lever and where the eyecup would attach) that have missing paint. It had one of those snazzy leather cases around it, but it was getting nasty so I tossed it out, however, the portion of the camera covered by the case is in good shape.
I can't post photos here, but could email if you really needed one.
EDIT: I still have the leather case for this camera (comes with a United Airlines sticker too), I tossed one for an older Pentax camera that I already sold.
Got the car laptop adapter from Tom (Wickedfn4u). Thank you!
Haven't had a chance to test it yet, but I will during the weekend.
Question to Tom before I start searching for the manual: the adapter tips are marked as '+' and '-' on each side, near the corresponding pin to indicate the polarity of DC current. However, the part that the tips slide into doesn't have such markings (they only have a word ('TIP', I think, but I don't have it in front of me, so I could be wrong) embossed on one side). Would you, by any chance remember, whether the side of the plug with the word on it corresponds to the '+' or the '-' side of the tip? Thanks in advance!
Sorry to butt in here, but usually the pin (+ side or - side) that you connect adjacent to the word tip allows you to change the polarity of the tip. Should your device require +12 volts D.C. applied to the center pin (with the outer shell of the connector being the negative side) you would connect the appropriate adapter so that the + and word tip were on the same side of the connector.
It is important to know before applying power to the laptop what input it requires, in many systems severe damage can result if the polarity is reversed.
Thank you Bob. No problem butting in -- this is exactly what I needed to know. Now I need to figure out what the '____' line over '----' line indicates over my laptops DCIN.

How this thread used to work in the past is that if some one gets something, you MUST PUT SOMETHING BACK UP...
It keeps things moving
Dont be greedy
Karma takes care of that... so far that is not a requirement.

I have no clue or the manual. I never used it as the tips did not fit my laptop at the time.
