This is one of those keyboards from a late 2001 Laptop, my guess is that there's not that many being used out there right now. Mine just died a horrible death, but it was working great until the day it quit!!
Infrared (IR) Converted Canon G5
Modified by me with a Lifepixel standard IR filter. In the interest of full discloser there are several "issues" with the camera. So here is the list.
1. the date and time battery does not work, the camera resets to 00.00.0000 00:00 every time you power it off.
2. There is a CF card error. (this just started this summer, I do not think that the modification caused this, done in Nov '07)
3. if the battery is left in the camera it will drain over night.
4. the flash does not fire
5. none of the following camera controls function, "set", "menu", "func", "display", "omni selector" or the "main dial"
So what does work you ask?
Well the camera is fully functional when tethered to a computer using Canon remote capture. See the screen shots.
Almost all the original contents (no CDs or wireless controller) Box not included.
1 Canon BP-511 Battery, a Sterling Tech charger with 120 volt & 12 volt adapters
Canon CA-560 power adapter
USB camera cable
1 - 256 MB CF card
Silver wide angle/macro adapter with original box
I have a Canon Remote Switch RS-80N3 for free. It has been used...but not abused. I don't have the box, just the switch. I just found it and since I don't shoot Canon anymore I see NO point in keeping it. I will even ship to Canada on this one!
I have 2 sticks of Corsair RAM to give away. Each stick is 512mb, 400MHz, CL2. It is snazzy with the low profile heat spreader as well. You pay $6 to cover shipping. First to PM gets one or both.
Canon ML-3 Ringlight Unused. Only works for Canon film cameras. FREE with good story and promise of a good home. I never even took this out of the box! No shipping charge, either...
I've got some old junk I can't bring myself to throw out.
A Pentax bayonet mount manual focus 135mm 2.8 lens. The brand is JC Penny, but I don't know who made it. It is not in very good shape; the front element has some scratches and the rubber focus grip slips. I also have a Gemini brand 2X converter for it. I think some of the Pentax DSLR's have backwards compatibility with the old manual focus lenses. Please take both. No lens caps.
Well, actually, I have two Minolta caps if anyone can use them, they just don't fit the lens. One looks like a body cap, is smaller, likely manual focus. The other is for a lens and I think is for Minolta (Sony) auto focus. There are also a couple lens hoods for a 35-70 3.5 and 4. I'd like to get rid of these as a lot.
Finally, I have a NIB universal Li-Ion battery charger. Charges camera and camcorder batteries from several major brands and even has a car adapter. Not top of the line, but perhaps you could put it to good use.
I'd prefer meeting up in NW Houston, TX to waiting in line at the post office. If anyone wants this stuff bad enough to pick it up, drop me a PM. If no one can, I can probably talked into sending this stuff (at your expense).
I know we aren't supposed to request stuff in this thread, but where would someone request old junk, like say, broken off-camera Canon flash cables?
