I ended up not using this MoBo (for my brother) I graciously received from Derek. I would like to pass it along to someone who will/would.
It's a MSI K7D Master motherboard. It uses the older AMD Athlon processors (building a file server or similar it is a very good board).
Does that board already have a CPU, or a cooler? If not, maybe I can scrounge one up to help make it a better gift for someone.
The ReadyNAS has found a new home in my homeland of Canada
Morning,
Up for sharing is the below. As this was an almost $600.00 purchase when bought a not too long time ago I will be ensuring it goes where it is truly needed so please pardon my being picky if that is how it seems to others out there:
1 Infrant ReadyNAS NV. It comes with the only the base unit, the original software and the four drive bay trays.
It is in excellent shape and no doubt will work well for someone once they add some decent drives.
Infrant was recently purchased by Netgear so not sure how that will affect support for this product. I recently updated the firmware though I am not sure if there has been any updates since then.
Please PM me directly as I will not be following this post.
Thank you,
Derek

Derek I would love it if you consider me, I had one a ready nav bought while it was infrant and it smoked on me a month ago. They said because it was out of warranty they would not cover it even though it is a known issue with the PS. So I have a dead unit with 4 500gb drives that is a desk weight.
OK, newer member, but I'll jump in with a few freebies. I was fortunate enough to be given a few G's of Sandisk Ultra II's, so I'm letting go of my four original red/blue stickered Sandisk 512MB CF cards. (Still shooting with my 300D which has a phenomenally slow write time to non-Ultra cards).
Therefore, I'd like to let at least two people take advantage, so I'll give out a pair of 512 MB CFs to each of the first two people to PM me. I'll even spring for the postage (bubble padded envelope sent via 1st class mail to the continental US).
One pair on the way to ziippyyy.
The other pair on the way to rparent.
For you 30D users out there, I have a very-nice copy of the Blue Crane InSight Field Guide to the 30D. It is a laminated four-fold guide to the 30D, shooting parameters, settings, tips, etc.
