The mini ballhead arrived today, thanks again Spydweb!
Now it is my turn to offer up some freebies, my only stipulation is one per person please, in order for the love to get spread around a bit! The items I have available are as follows:
#1) Canon EP-EX15 eyepiece extender Gone to firebug!
#2) BOX only for a Canon 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM with Styrofoam, no warranty card, no manual, and of course no lens! Gone to cn219703!
#3) Hoya HMC 62mm UV(0) filter Gone to jingrmai!
#4) Vivitar Auto 2600 flash with owner's manual only Gone to Jon Smith!
#5) Optex neoprene camera strap Gone to dgcrane!
I figure $5 should cover shipping for each item, within Canada or the US. PM me the item you are after and your mailing address, they will go on a first come, first serve basis. You might want to list a second choice in case someone beats you to your original choice...
Cheers,
Helimat
Everything is gone now, I will dig around when I have a chance and see if there is anything else that someone else could use!

I have two dinky little film camera P&S bodies from the early-to-mid 90s. I know one of them (a silver Canon) cost at least $60 originally. The other is black, I can't remember which brand, and has some rust on the hot shoe. Anyone interested? Please PM me only if you'll really use one. They could be great for kids, casual shooting, etc. $6 shipping each.

I have a Sony VGN-S360 laptop that I am going to donate. Currently the laptop has Ubuntu's (linux) newest release installed (Hardy Heron), but I do have the original Sony reinstall disk that will go with it which includes Windows XP (Home Edition I believe) and all original drivers/software that sold with it. There are a few scuffs on the top outside cover as I did carry it with me to work etc. for writing/photography work.
...
Wow, that was so cool of you. Damn, now I want to donate my laptop. Only I'm a broke college student and I just bought it... but I really want to.

and you are selling empty boxes for a hefty price to raise money to buy a new laptop, so that you can donate the old one
I loaned out a an older Dell Workstation 650 computer which will be coming back to me over this coming weekend.
I would be happy to share with somebody here as long as they understand that shipping will not be cheap as the machine is heavy and big. My guess after just shipping the Compaq server out that will be over 100.00 minimum to ship this UPS Ground. It has:
Dual Xeon processors 2.0 Ghz
4 gig ram
1 18 gig Ultra SCSI boot/os hard drive
1 36 gig Ultra SCSI data drive
1 200-300 gig IDE data drive (don't recall exact size as I just added it before loaning it out)
Nvidia AGP 8x video card with I believe 256 meg memory. I will update post once I see the inside of the box again
1 Floppy drive
1/2 DVD R/RW drives
That covers the basics of what's inside it. I can update once I have the machine in my possession again.
