I meant no harm in asking. I just thought that if someone were to give something away that I might be looking for they would know that I was interested. Isn't that the purpose of this thread? I didn't mean for it to be a big deal. Anyway, people looking at this are,in a way, asking for something free. I won't make that mistake again, and I apologize.
The older freebie threads usually started with a few rules and one of those rules was no asking for items. This thread has really gotten out of hand because of all of the requests for items.
That really is a good idea, I would say ( and I know this will be lost in the thread) but lets not ask for. Offer up and first come first served. Oh and remember pay it forward.
I think maybe the asking posts also unnecessarily boosts this thread and get people excited to an extent . . . kind of like we're doing right now . . . eheheh.
Maybe it would be good to not "ask" anymore? To minimize any chances of tainting this awesome thread?
I also liked one of the "accepted" rules of the thread like this one that Wickedfn4u refers to in his first post, the one around Christmastime....the idea was that if you got something, you hunted and tried to find something to offer back on the thread as well...

My pleasure. Always glad to help out those that could use it more than me.
