This and the 16-35 II are my objectives for this year, gear-wise. Might even sell my hardly used 100-400 to fund this baby and get a 400 5.6 when I next need the tele range. I adore the images I get from my 85 1.8 but it just doesn't cut it in low-light: it's excellent stopped down one stop but my conclusion is the 85L is great wide open and for weddings and concerts like the one Jon showed us.
