Dan, today the younger generation here are taught that their country is BAD BAD BAD. Some of the teams in this World Cup are from countries that arguably have a lot less to offer to their people than the USA, the Jamaica team even had to get funding from Gofundme to travel to the game. Yet players from those countries still proudly sing their national anthem and show their respect. I will be the first one to admit that the USA is not a perfect country, far from it. If some of these girls are so ashamed of the US, while they are making millions, perhaps they shouldn't be wearing the USA uniform to represent such an evil country. Not respecting the national anthem at home is bad enough, showing their contempt on international stage just brings it to another level. I was a big big fan of the US women soccer team for a long time. The Swedish blondes ain't bad looking either...I enjoy watching women who look like women.
No airshow for me until the Atlantic City show on August 15. In the meantime, I have been enjoying shooting this newly-fledged hummer in my yard. Hard to imagine he will be flying thousands of miles to the south in a month or two. How these little creatures can fly 20 hours non stop over the Gulf of Mexico is beyond my comprehension.
You are 100% correct Douglas.
Americans, as yourself, that have emigrated, or escaped,(my mother's parents fled facist Italy in the 1920's to live here)to live in the US of A are just as upset as we born Americans are.
Ignorance is bliss for MANY Americans (thank you "lame stream" media)on how the other parts of the World live to survive. The country you escaped from is a prime example. You don't like China..you are dead!
Like I stated..."You dont like it here"? Move and I will help you!
Now..photography...Fantastic hummers my friend. The scales are just so sharp! Detail and bokeh fantastic!
Stay safe!

Something haunting in the last one Bill! Don't know what it is. Memories of the past that are hidden in the brain somewhere.
Great photography!

Off to shoot the second model of the week! This community is about 20 minutes outside of McKinney where resident development is booming. They just opened this area and already have 400 people who have reservations to build homes. The marketing department is trying to figure out a way to slow the interest and discourage potential buyers so the production team can begin to catch up.............strange times for sure.
On the petroleum front, my client just secured a dozen projects from the largest oil exploration company in the world. This turn of events makes them, easily, a $100M operation. The barrel price for crude is only going to "fuel" this growth trend. So, I guess I'm the marketing director and media guy for a skyrocketing energy exploration company, amongst my other responsibilities.....

Glad you are busy brother! Keeps you out of trouble! .....
The residential boom is on here in Mary-land also BUT "McCaughey: Biden declares war on single-family homes ...Boston Herald" all new construction are townhouses. They Counties and State have changed the Zoning Laws to encourage multi family dwellings versus a single family home.
WE, the USA, have to get back to energy independence again! I hope your client isn't stalled by "the permit crap".

That dusk harvest would make for some wonderful drone clips Eddie Ray! One would have to stay out of the dust, but there'd be some cool footage for sure.
Just dropped off two display prints of a client flying his F/5. This client also owns two of the small number of Beechcraft Starships that are still flying.
The client would have liked 30x40's, but these were pretty severe crops so, to maintain the quality I limited them to 18" in width. I had them mounted behind plexiglass with stainless standoffs, so the presentation is very nice. Could have gone with larger prints and most people wouldn't have noticed, but I would have.
