Beautiful backyard with a putting green and all, nice Jim.

And Top Gun, I still Love #1 the best but #2 was pretty good. And the Phenom300 and L39 which I love and have shot, amazing. I have a friend down in Cali, JJ and he has sent me a few pictures way back of the training room for the Patriots...Very kool to see that and all the jets lined up. You'd almost think this was a Fuji commercial.
Just extraordinary cinemaphotography!!!!!! Tell ya what,"if the Big Guy upstairs doesn't have F18's, I want the other guy downstairs"(a modified quote from a Jesuit priest colleague of mine about mountains). I think I'll now trade-in my Canon gear for Fuji.
Amazing work, obviously, but the blending of the technology with the people who can actually perform under those conditions is the real alchemy. I've been at this for a long time, but I know my limitations. Being able to shoot this stuff and not have your head in a sic-sac requires nerves of steel, an astronaut's middle ear..............and a considerable amount of compositional/technical talent. Hats off to all of them!
Absolutely true, Jim!!! I was simply stupefied at their prowess. I hope there's s special award for their competency. Thanks for posting, Jim. I sent it along to both of my sons - also GA pilots.
O’Dark Thirty departure this morning for one CEO headshot in downtown Dallas. Takes the same drill for one as it does for 30. I always try to be way early because there are so many moving parts, like the Elinchrom head that decided to stop working between the last shoot and now. Things like the new Westcott umbrella that is just slightly too big to fit the Elinchrom head where the shaft slides into it. Ugh! Gremlins abound, the things that wake you up in the middle of the night and one can never think of them all.
Gosh dang Don,
Spooky spider, I shot pics of one on the shed wall yesterday morning drinking coffee waiting on the dam hummingbirds that never showed...Bad birdies. .
.
This spider looks like a garden spider and just ate a bee for lunch but didn't like the wing I guess.
