p.1252 #1 · Mustang Air to Air: The Sequel

Chandler is now VP of sales for Republic Title in Dallas, looks like I have lost my assistant/sidekick. Not really, but during the week at least. The company had some photographer come in to shoot headshots last week and it appears that photography was not his strong suit........... Chandler called and asked if I might be able to set up and shoot his headshots. I just finished setting up everything here at home and he's dropping by this evening. Republic's biggest client is "Hillwood" and Chandler has been building a relationship (although unaware of just how well it would work out for him) with the founder and most of the upper management. Good life lesson, be the best you can be, always, then let The Good Lord work His plan.

Nice moon shot, Jim. Like pretty much all other celestial events this year, the mid-atlantic was blessed with cloud cover and storms last night, so no such luck for us, unfortunately.

Smart one Jim, isn't Hillwood the firm were Debra Hale works for.

Those images are so crisp, add the tonal qualities of the sky and you have some really beautiful captures. That R6 MK2 is doing an outstanding job in your capable hands!

Thanks Jim. I got a super good deal on R62 it which I could not ignore even though I was looking to add R52. I know you have been saying some good words for 200-800. I should give it a shot. 400 at tele end is little limiting I find.

As I was driving to work this morning at 06:00 I thought that's a funny moon, then I remembered but I was lucky that the cloud cover just broke a bit.

Hi Jan Arie,

Yes, it's the company Ross Jr. started when he got out of the service. He has his father's genius, Hillwood has now eclipsed Perot Systems and continues unbounded growth in numerous sectors of the economy.

The RF200-800 continues to amaze me. I shot the eclipse last night with it, handheld, all at 800. I've seen some reviews where people say it's clunky and slow, I just don't see it. Jan Arie got one and I think he's pretty pleased with it. All I can say is, it has not let me down in a number of scenarios and I really was skeptical about it. I suppose if our cameras had not progressed so far in the higher iso noise area it might be an issue. I don't find myself shooting very high iso's with it though, it just performs.
