Check one two three I'm improved a little bit, the week was ok so I decided that after twelve days I could go outside and get me some stuff at the supermarket across the street.
That took a bit more energy then I anticipated.
So I was out of breath and my head was spinning, and It took most of the day to recover from that.
Have to check with the doc on Monday to see what he thinks about that.
And Yesterday evening I was able to go to my mums house and enjoy dinner for the first time in almost three weeks so that was good.
So as long as I keep my self in check it's going ok for now..
J.A., FWIW, close friend of mine described very similar experiences as his recovery progressed. He's now good to go. You're on the mend, Sir. and I fully understand the "keep myself in check."
You did a great job given the skies you were dealt Don, well done! I'm liking the R5 more and more. I shot a video of James the other evening and he was all over the place, it never lost him once in the sequence. I'm supposed to have a C70 to demo in the next few weeks, really looking forward too seeing what that can do. I had planned on replacing my FS7 with a current model cinema camera, maybe Canon, maybe a RED Komodo, but I think the C70 might fill that gap.
Just applied for an airspace waiver in Bush's TFR over Highland Park, that should be interesting. My guess is they will approve it, if the party of "tolerance" isn't burning down the country this week. I went to the same FAA person that granted me a blanket DFW Airport airspace waiver.

Thanks, Jim I do not think my Old 7D could have handled those skies, night and day v.s. R5. Sounds like you are having a great time creating precious memories.

Always liked and supported him but I'm afraid he too has come off the rails. He was always very respectful of other people in office, he wouldn't even defend himself against the vicious attacks that were leveled against him and his family, but that has all changed, and I have lost a lot of respect for him because of it.

He was another politician I voted 'for' as a vote 'against'. He was part of the "Tiffany Squadron" when the war in Southeast Asia sent politician's kids to the national guard and reserves. I forget how many congressmen got their kids into our unit to keep them out of the draft. The 147th FIW/111th FS were known for this, thus they were given the "Tiffany" moniker (after the war and NASA's astronaut corp grew with the shuttle program we had several astronauts join our unit so the moniker continued for a while). He wouldn't know me if I was the only person in the room. Having said that, he did qualify as an F-102 pilot, and that did take commitment.

Hello Don, I was there also on Sunday. What did you think of the drive-in format?
I actually liked it because I had all my gear, snacks, drinks, etc. right beside me in my car. Got there before the gates opened, so it was a long day.
The sky did get interesting toward the end of the show as the front was breaking up.
You got some really good shots despite challenging conditions.
Take care,
Brian

Hey, Brian two excellent shots. Yea, I liked that format as well especially when you could sit in the truck to relax when some of the same small planes flew again. It was a nice show and I am still going through them.
Thanks for the nice comment and look forward to more of your captures from the Rome airshow.
Don

Folks, dont go APE on November 4th. like this chap whom either didnt vote or pushed t he wrong buttons
You may have to grin and bear the results like this APE. His only worry may be when and where his next
meal comes from, your worries may be much more complex. Remember to VOTE if you havent already.
