Thanks Mike! I'll bet that's where the problem resides. I've never balanced the props on the P4P, just makes sense. I'm headed out to see if I can get that balancer locally.
Aside from the view, a guy can really lose himself sitting in that piece of history looking out. The trip through the tunnel is an exercise in mind over matter though, just a tad claustrophobic crawling through there as you bump along.
I had the opportunity to fly in the B-17 Aluminum Overcast last fall. Jim is right, it's a moving experience, thinking about those young men risking their lives.
I'm not a pilot and my in-air experience is limited to looking at the backrest in front of me on commercial flights. It took several hours to wipe the grin off my face after being in the nose cone of that B-17.
Spent this week in Phoenix shooting a new hospital which, in truth was three weeks from really being ready, but we don't let a slight stumbling block like that slow us down. The designer and I scrubbed floors, moved boxes and did whatever was needed to get what we came for. The weather was Arizona gorgeous, 60's at dawn, crystal skies laced with Cirrus, just perfection. We got finished a little early .............cuz you know............it wasn't done So I made a call to my good Buddy Larry Grace and we met up at Luke AFB for a fun day of F/35's and F/16's. My flight out yesterday morning was perfectly timed, leaving their first 99 degree day on my Six as we winged it back to The Lone Star.
She's been doing better, thank you for asking. She missed yesterday's festivities at our house because she is on a bit of a downward slide at the moment. Hopefully an arrested slide, but she just didn't feel quite up to it all so she brought the girls over and retreated home to rest. She's got a lot on her plate at the moment but it will start to even out over the coming months.
How's "Bunny"? I think of her often, and you! Sheila and I are ready for a quiet day today, between last week's assignment and her prep for Easter Saturday, we were pretty delirious by the time evening fell yesterday.
Hope you have a wonderful upcoming week, let's talk soon.
