The Army spec ops folks are back in the DFW metroplex....playing all over town after dark.
Caught them departing the local airport shortly after sunset....
Sorry Lady Jo! I was shooting from pre-dawn to late in the evening the whole time I was in town. Did a Siri search one day for a lunch spot and that is where she led me. I did see a sign to Buda on the way back to my project, but it didn't say how far. I'll be back, hopefully with a little more flexible schedule.

Feels like late fall around here today, OVC/1100 and 50 degrees with winds out of the north 35G40, Brrrr! The Cub will happily remain inside at HQ until this stuff morphs back into beautiful Spring weather.
Well, I waited too long and all the photo passes for Thunder Over Michigan are long gone. Think they're up to 12 or 13 Corsairs now. Don't know if other options would be worthwhile.

I think just to be there would be worthwhile with 12 Corsairs just saying.
Don't think you need a photo pass for good stuff just look for some good points while i have never been there I'm sure that there will be some.
Just hoping that they will do some sort of big formation.
Have looked in to that show but i'm not able to get leave for that show let alone for another so this year I will stay on this side of the pond..
So I hope that somebody from here is able to go and shoot some for history.
I even would go to hear 12 radials man that sound...
I was in Ohio sitting in the grandstands when most of the mustangs arrived for the GML man what a treat that was.
So go and enjoy because it's something that won't be repeated any time soon i think..

Sheila and I have been thinking about Paris for our 50th. I'd like to take her but it seems a bit volatile lately. Any thoughts?
You can't go wrong with Paris!
I suggest you spend at least a week over there, there is so much to see.
Once you make your mind, let us know. I could give a bunch of good tips.

I suspect there are many more areas of Dallas to avoid than areas of Paris to avoid.
I only now realize the concerns about security! Sorry, I am not an English native speaker.
As for the initial concerns, I think Erich addressed the topic very well
Thanks Guys! You're probably right Erich, and every Thursday we spend the evening in probably the worst of the worst. Yesterday was "Serve Sunday" at church and we had a bunch of special activities. A month or so ago they asked me if I would capture images of our particular ministry and put together a presentation for the event yesterday...........
My daughter has been there twice in the last year, recently just came back from her second trip. No complaints from her. Turn off the news channel, go, and enjoy.
