Rain and cold today, spent the entire day with my feet up by the fire doing Davinci Resolve tutorials. What a program, I'm fried though and probably know less than I did when I began this morning. Freezing rain tomorrow but I think I'll do something else. Nice day though, I cannot remember a day when I didn't leave the house, or even put shoes on Kind of nice every once in a decade.I think I officially lacked motivation today, strange feeling.
This clip was ridiculous to tweak and color grade. The drastic dynamic range as the 74 changed positions and the late afternoon sun really made it tough to hit any kind of an average...........
Boy Jim, he bout drove that thing right down the line, very nice.
.
How come you don't use a tripod for shots like that ?

Some stuff for ya to look at that we dribble in. www.meekeraviation.com
Went out early to Meacham Airport to photograph this beautiful Citation X + for a client of mine who will be using one of the photos for the cover of Charter Hub magazine next month.
Always nice to see one of your photos on the cover of a magazine.
So thankful for all of God's blessings and I wish each and everyone of you a very Happy New Year in 2019!
"The museum was founded as a tribute to Robert Signom Sr. by his son, Bob, a lawyer and collector who also serves as the museum’s curator. Among the possessions the father had lost during the Depression was a 1928 Packard Six Cylinder Convertible Coupe, a car that to him symbolized quality and success.
That car now sits in the museum’s showroom, its return to the Signom family a result of a for-sale ad in this newspaper. On a business trip to New York, the son’s habit of checking the local classified listings turned up an ad for a green Packard much like his father’s car. He called his father to ask if there was anything special that might identify the car he had once owned. The father said he could think of only one thing: “To make my golf clubs fit, I made a two-inch slit in the upholstery where it couldn’t be seen, just above the floor and about three inches behind the seat.”"

Beautiful Laura,
My Grandfather always drove a new Packard like that, then I think he switched to Cadillacs. Wish he had put them up on blocks in a barn somewhere
That's a great story Laura, very interesting history. The design firm that scheduled my Ohio shoot hasn't gotten back to me to confirm that the project is going to be finished later this month. They need to figure it out fairly quickly because I received several emails over the weekend lining out projects that will take me well into Spring to complete. Great way to begin 2019, I always like a good solid backlog!
