I hear you Nick, great counsel and I'm chillin' as we speak. Unless I am mistaken, unlike the rest of the known universe, we here can have an exchange like this, completely disagree, and still care deeply for one another. Once again a testimony to what a great spot this is and always has been. Clearly we have lost a couple of significant folks because they didn't possess the ability to compartmentalize this stuff and lean toward these relationships which, in my estimation are far more valuable and significant than any political stance. Truly I am sorry for anyone who has disappeared from our group for those reasons, that's a shame, but folks make choices every day that have me scratching my head and worrying about that would affect my ability to "chill" so I ain't.
Uh Oh! TOPP.....................A shot of "The Queen" on approach and arrival to DFW yesterday...........
The 74 is a majestic aircraft, in my estimation, anyway, but the British livery on that one makes it even more so. I guess The Good Lord decided to toss me a bone yesterday. I had a little time to kill and stopped by DFW because it was close to my shoot. Turned out Qantas was an hour late, the British Airways was early, and a couple of Triple Sevens filed in in the interim.............
Erich, have you seen that Blackmagic released DaVinci Resolve 15? Looks like they have incorporated a bunch of really cool new features. I love Resolve, just wish it didn't turn my mind into a pretzel as I try to learn it..........
Jim, we'll definitely have to disagree about the cause of the health care debacle while we agree that it is one. Yes, I’m hip deep in the Resolve 15 Beta. They've thrown me a loop since I've been trying to learn both Resolve and Fusion, and now they're combining them! It does open up a ton of exciting possibilities, but they change stuff so fast I can't keep up. Maybe that's just another sign of aging? My brain cells don't soak up stuff as fast as they used to!
Did a dawn shoot this morning at Stow Maries aerodrome in Essex, UK. A truly ungodly hour to get up at, followed by a 4.5 hour drive home afterwards, means desperately needing my bed but couldn't resist trawling through the shots to see if I got anything decent.
First one below, hope there will be more to follow
Don't feel like the Lone Ranger Erich, I feel like that with 14, so it's safe to say 15 will be worse. I went to buy the "Studio" version of 15 and got a bit confused. The link took me to B&H and that site offered two versions, "Dongle" and something else. What do I need?
Thanks in advance! Wish we lived closer so we could hammer Resolve out together .

I stumbled across this "FlyJacket soft exoskeleton - drone controller" and just instantly had a vision of your good self doing the Texas two step, whilst flying your drone camera on a mission for one of your Real Estate clients.
Jim, the dongle version of Resolve Studio is a USB-based license stick you can move around to any machine to run the program. The activation card version uses a software license like most other programs nowadays and limited to 2 machines. It used to be dongle only, but they've recently started to switch over.
Either way you download the latest version from the Blackmagic website, but I'd hold off installing 15 for now since it's a beta and you can't have the stable version 14 and the beta 15 installed on the same machine. Once you install 15 it updates existing projects and you won't be able to open them in 14 if you find you need to roll back to the older version.
Thanks Nick, I did. Walking in sunshine two days in a row! Playing hide and seek with mailboxes and house numbers, and today I was a bit more comfortable, and remembered where some of those mailboxes were hiding. I'm already getting tan lines on my arms

Sorry for falling down on the posting, Laura. I hope you had a great first day.
Definitely worth the early morning rising. As Jim says, "Do you want the shot or not?" sort of thing. Can't wait to see what else you brought home

We are 8 weeks away from Grandchild #8, James Reilly Wilson III. Sheila and I had (disappointedly) come to grips with the seven Blessings we have been given, being the end of the line. JR and Candace decided to name him after me, I am deeply touched and so looking forward to one more little Buddy to mentor.
