Exciting times here, went to the Photography Show and bagged a Canon Imageprograf Pro-1000 and an Eizo CG2730, both arrived this week. Amazed at how many 'show' offers weren't even offers, e.g. one company was stating free inks with the printer worth £480 Ex VAT, but on checking they were referring the inks supplied as standard within the box by Canon.
Mother Nature is giving us a last minute April Fool's joke of up to three inches of snow.

It's a rather dull Easter holiday over here in the UK. But sometimes the sun puts in an appearance...... Taken a couple of weeks back .....
I would think the prop, gearbox, and engine would be much more difficult and expensive. The wing and engine mount could probably be rebuilt from scratch if absolutely necessary, but if the engine parts are scarce, what can you do?
That particular Yak-3 was built from a modified Yak-11, and had the metal wing of the 11, of which few are available. The engine is an Allison V-1710 from a P-40 or P-38, so parts are very easy to come by and won't be a problem to source. The wing is definitely going to be the hold up here, especially since it was sheared off and can't be easily repaired.
Spent a few hours with the Collings Foundation gang at Love Field over the weekend.
