That moon shot is pretty crisp in full res, but one really needs two tripods to get it exactly right. At Alliance I️ had the 5DSR on my Gitzo and the 800 on my Sachtler sticks, so it was rock solid. I️ didn’t have the Sachtler with me last evening so I️ had to wing it with just the Gitzo.
My Rylo 360 camera arrived yesterday so Halle and I️ took it to the park last evening. Not having read the instructions, there were some things that I️ would have done differently, but the camera is pretty cool. May stick it on a new Pitt’s Model 12 Friday afternoon. Weebeesee!
Or the Nikon 800 and one of the Nikon V series with FT1 adapter, which would yield a 2.7 crop factor, if you really want the shot
PSSSSSSSSSStttt... you need a TOPP

Thanks Zane, I keep looking for the flag and some footprints in the Sea of Tranquility, but I guess I need a 2X converter for that!
I got my nifty fifty delivered this week (Canon EF 50mm f1.8 STM). Initial impressions are favourable. It is a lot better built than the previous MKII and the focus motor is a bit less toy like too. I will post some results as and when - but optically it looks just fine.
