You've seen those airplane fuselage they put on a stick and spins around or make a house out of it.
What a shame tho, bet the insurance company is feeling that one.
Wow! Is that a complete loss or is this the beginning of the inspections and repairs? If it is a complete loss it must have sat in the foam for several days or a week or more. Of course, I am sure he got a discount on his building insurance for having an automatic foam system in the hangar.
Hi Ray, nope, the hangar had a Challenger, two Falcon 900's and a brand new Diamond Twin, all written off as total losses. Apparently the FAA is very strict regarding: any contact with fire suppression foam.
Man, it's 1:12 am and I am working on the design of a new website. I feel like throwing my laptop through the wall, very frustrating. They keep saying it's so simple on Squarespace, but I must be the one that's simple. Time to call it a day before bad things start happening.
My neighbor has a herd of Texas longhorns. The South pasture has 3 crucifix's at the top of the hill. FINALLY got some in the frame. The 3 crucifixes are by Bernard Coffindaffer (1920-1993). He felt a calling in 1984 to plant crosses as a message of hope. Many of his crucifixes dot the Maryland landscape.
Whenever I see the longhorns out, I think of my brothers in Texas.

There's nobody that I'd rather have shooting with it. I took him to dinner this evening at Whataburger and there were a couple of beautiful Maple trees on the parkway outside our window. He just began asking me about light and why the colors are more vivid at certain times of day, why shadows make such a big difference in what you see. He probably wondered why my eyes were welling up talking about trees...............
I'm taking him to a bird sanctuary up along the Red River first thing tomorrow morning. He's so excited he will probably jump up about 5:30 ready to roll.
I was on my MacBook Pro earlier and switched to archives of our thread. I spent about half an hour skimming pages, we have lost some really great people to the inevitable. There were many more names that I knew were aging, but I’m afraid to ask , like Sir Donald, and others. Going through old conversations was a neat walk down memory lane, but I left those pages with a sadness. We have been through a lot together, to think that any of those friends just slipped away without so much as a tip of the hat is just sad. There were some names of people who I really enjoyed, but politics, or perceived politics, caused them to drift away, what a shame.
All of that is what it is, but it made me once again realize how important you all are to me and to this conversation of ours. Please don’t ever forget that.
