Only for windows.
If you have the orginal CD install from it
If you don't have the original CD you can edit the registry with regedit and add the following lines of code. This is danerous, so be careful!!
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Canon]
all your problems can be solved by just contacting canon tech support and they will send you a copy of the required disks. there might be a minor fee but then you'll have what you need
HERE is DPP. There are two files, double click the file that says to. Not sure if it works for vista, but it installed fine on xp home w/sp2. Slow download, but I guess it's the best they got. Anyway, might want to squirrel it away for a rainy day!
Any one know where I can get the EOS Utility for Mac? The one on Canon's site if only for updates and the EOS Utility is not on my CD...
The EOS Utility update is actually a full install. It simply requires you to have a Canon camera app pre-installed--anything will do--and it will execute. No need to have an earlier version of EOS Utility.

If you need a starter-kit for Windows or Mac you can get the full install of DPP for your 1D from the Canon site (of COURSE you have a 1D, you remember the 6-digit serial number, right? starts with zero, has 5 other digits like 13579 or something close, right? I'm not suggesting you lie though, that would be bad).
Then you can upgrade to whatever the latest version is. Not sure where that takes you for Mac, works for Windows though.
you can downoad DPP from Canon. I did it in the past. Actually comes from the Canon Japan site and requires the serial number (this was before you even needed the serial for a DPP update).
