I was able to go back tonight, with my daughter as model. The lights shines from the top, to brighten the street below. She was staring at the bugs flying around the light. Oh, and she preferred this one in B&W.
C&C always welcome

Thanks all for the comments. I really like the shot last night but forgot to put my daughter in it last night even though she was with me in the car. So, I put her in tonight instead

Hi Christian! I thought the one in the thumbnail (the one in color) was amazing, but didn't get to see it full sized. This one is great, but the other seemed to be very dramatic. That said, I love this one. Your daughter looks mesmerized by the light...great use of B/W, and an excellent crop. Beautifully done on both!
I agree - this one is even better, Christian. A finalist, for sure!! The velvety B & W is just beautiful! and the addition of your daughter focuses the viewer on the story we make up in out heads when we look at it. The whole thing looks dreamlike. Great work. Wish I'd thought of it.
Philly, I thought the thumbnail was good on the other one but the full size was not as good. Soooo, therefore the change. I will work on the other thought but not for this assignment.
