Not bad. Looks like a pretty big (size wise) lens.
Indeed. I really wish Olympus would wise-up and produce some small prime lenses to go with the small the E-410 and E-510 bodies,
By the way, the E-3 isn't that small. It's about the same size and weight as the Nikon D300 and Canon 40D, which it may compete with, and with the optional grip it's as big at the Nikon D3 and Canon 1D's.
I was hoping for small compact lenses from Olympus. This one and the new zoom to be released in 2008 with a max aperture of f2 seem to be pretty hefty sizewise. I always thought the whole point of the 4/3rds system was small and compact size lenses and bodies.
The E-3 is almost the same size as the 40D - except it is taller with the pop-up flash. Still not bad for all the features it has to offer, but wish it was the same size as the e510.
I was going to say, zuikos are nice pieces of glass, but small is not a word I would use to describe the 12-60 we have pictured here! The new E3 isn't exactly small either.
