p.3 #1 · Hello Canon, where's the rebates

Personally, I was hoping for the 35L, but I'm not sure that has ever happened.

Good grief! I just took at look at the Canadian prices (Kerrisdale) on the 5D kit minus their rebate. I had no idea they were so high. I think I need to stop complaining about the US 5D pricing now and stop obsessing over this rebate. What an eye-opener!

Darn, nothing I need or even really want. Hoping for 300 f4IS or 400 f5.6. I'll wait until the spring to see what comes up.

At B& H, they're already deducted from the regular prices.

p.3 #5 · Hello Canon, where's the rebates

I did not see any notification anywhere on the website but the Instant Rebate values seem to already be reflected in the US versions of the lenses at B&H. I'm interested in the 10-22mm efs lens and the US version currently shows a price of 639.00 and the imported version is 674.95. Any B&H codes for this lens? (yes, I'm greedy & cheap!)

Thanks

Not likely since they are instant rebates. If you were to use a discount code, it would cost more than the rebate most likely

It does...the code price for the 70-200 2.8IS is higher than the discounted rebate amount.

Just out of curiosity, I just tried the discount code for an 85 1.2 which is $1714. Went to checkout (one click prior to purchasing) and the total remained $1714 so they are not applying the instant rebate on top of their discount code like they did last time. Then again, possibly they haven't reprogrammed that part yet.

Yeah earlier they (B&H) said the discount codes and rebate wasn't in the system to use both. Hopefully later, maybe not.

B&H is showing the rebates as a line item now.

Yeah, me to. It was long shot, but you never know.

BTW - Does anyone have the B&H Photo Plus code?

You know I would swear that B&H's price for the 16-35 ƒ/2.8L II was around $1369 before the rebate (I looked this morning). Now, after the rebate is in place, the price (pre-bate) is $1449. Sigh.

I've been waiting all week to order the 17-55 IS, and now it's finally on rebate... for $5 more than it is with the B&H code (PS07074YV0W) that's been available all along...

I'll wait a *little* while to see if they magically combine the rebates/discount, but I'm not expecting much. Would've paid for my polarizer, too...

I was looking at B&H for the rebate price for the 50L. Now I can't find that lens on their site at all?

monoprint -- I think that's a mistake on their part. I'd question them about it. Check out Norman Camera...they're showing $12xx after rebate but don't have it in stock.

I bookmarked the prices of several lenses at different vendors prior to the rebate and all of them went up. Most that had $100 rebates went up $40 in price.
