Yesterday was cold but bright. Whole families went sledding. I have to hand it to you dads. You are a dedicated guys! Here's an example:
That's a lovely shot, Dennis. The curling ribbon in the snow suggests packages that have been opened, sleigh bells that have rung...and the fluffy snow of a wonderful Christmas leading straight into a fine New Year's celebration.

When I heard the official forecast in November for a much milder than usual winter, I went to Home Depot and bought a snowblower.
Looking back it was the right idea.
