That's a lovely shot, Dennis. The curling ribbon in the snow suggests packages that have been opened, sleigh bells that have rung...and the fluffy snow of a wonderful Christmas leading straight into a fine New Year's celebration.
I hope that everyone's holidays continue to be filled with delight.
Thanks Soenda it was a festive Holiday week.
Hope you have a safe and Happy New year ..

Our thick blanket of snow disappeared in a matter of days now that the temperature shot up. Things outside look like their bedclothes have been yanked off. They've been left blinking in surprise.

I hate to tell you Skip, but it looks like we are getting buried.
There is a possibility of snow in Daytona Beach, FLA.
When I heard the official forecast in November for a much milder than usual winter, I went to Home Depot and bought a snowblower.
Looking back it was the right idea.
To me that's a lovely sight. Nothing like a good heavy snowfall to soothe the countryside. However, it is always tough going if you have to get somewhere.

This certainly can be a wistful time of year.

Those enormous eyes express many different things. uncertainty among them. He so fascinated me that I almost missed the tiny one. The sunlight discovers the infant wrapped in his nap. It's a rich, beautiful photo that quite transcends scanning issues.
