As the title states, I would like to trade these lenses.....70-200 2.8 IS with hood, for a EF-S 17-55 2.8 IS with hood (or cash value of hood)
But first, I must give full disclosure on the 70-200. It has about a 3/8" chip on the inside of the outer element (doesn't affect image), there is no tripod foot, no box, no soft case, and it seemed a bit soft on my 40D, but it seems to be fine on a friends 20D, so I don't know. This would be a great lens for somebody that has better access to canon service than me, as I live in remote Alaska. (That is assuming you want to send it in)
For this deal, I would expect to have shipping for both items paid for by the other party, (probably around $25-30 for each) and I will cross-ship with good feedback.
