Most of the good stuff I shot with the 85 is of people, and I can't really post them up on the net, so this will have to do. ƒ1.4 as far as I remember.
Great lens, but it can be tough to nail focus at 1.2 on manual. I find that the focus in so razor thin at 1.2 that I have a difficult time finding perfect focus in the viewfinder. I read somewhere that the standard focusing screens canon uses are only useful down to 1.8. Can anyone confirm this?

Great shots. Can anyone demonstrate the bokeh difference between the 85L and Mark II? Curious what difference the aperture blades make?
from what i understand, there is no difference between the aperture blades of the mk I and mkII...
This is why I desperately want ...make that need this lens. I love the 3D dof that this lens can give you. My 70-200 2.8is is great, but this lens is off the charts. Great shots canerino!
