The venerable Oly C2020Z is well known among IR enthusiasts for being very IR sensitive - without expensive conversions. As such, you are able to obtain handheld IR images with an R72 filter attached. You can frame with either the viewfinder - or live preview.
I've decided to have a DSLR converted by lifepixel, so my Oly has to go. It's a great little camera to dabble in IR. Yes, its only 2.1 mp, yes it uses little SM cards, yes it's a P+S, but did I mention - handheld IR? I've made some nice 8x10 prints from it that I'm quite happy with.
C2020Z camera, 1 32mb SM card, filter adapter (allows you to mount 52mm filters), 52 to 58mm step up ring, 58mm Hoya R72 filter (Full disclosure - this filter has a sizeable chip out of the front - but it doesn't go all the way through. It does not seem to affect IQ at all. See the sample below.) Lens cap. I will also include a Dazzle 3 in 1 reader - (CF, SD and most importantly SM)
I'm looking for $120 for everything including shipping and paypal. This is ready for IR shooting out of the box - just add batteries.
