Having recently purchased a MKIII, and being very happy with it, I am selling my MKIIn. Purchased from Danny Daniels, a great FMer; in the fall, the camera has about 16500 clicks. Has never given me a problem, and works perfectly. (And is, I might add, a little more forgiving than the MKIII.
Comes with all original accesories; box, blank warranty, plus a spare generic battery.
NOTE: The RRS plate does NOT come with the camera , as someone PMed me about it. I discovered that if I reverse the plate, it fits perfectly on the MKIII, so I'll be keeping it.
Although I have bought many items on this forum, I have never sold anything here. That being the case, if anyone is understandably hesitant to deal with me, I can probably make arrangements to ship the camera to a business associate in either LA, Houston, Miami, or New York for a cash transaction. If this is desired,I would ask only for the shipping portion of the selling price to be paid in advance, and the balance to be paid in cash at the point of actual transaction.
Price is $2700 plus shipping. If interested, please Email, Pm, or call me at 787.409.9309 to make arrangements.
Thanks,
Harvey Fillmore
The only marks I notice on the camera are on the hot-shoe. But please don't take my word for it. I'd rather you look at the pictures. I don't really trust my eyes, as when I bought the camera from Danny Daniels, he insisted that there were some marks that I never could find. I kidded him later by telling him that the camera didn't come with everything he said it came with - the marks just weren't there. At any rate, here are the pictures. There are no marks on the LCD screen. The picture is kind of poor, and what seems like marks are actually reflections. If anyone wants a better shot of the LCD let me know and I'll repost. http://www.pbase.com/hfillmore/image/82818027.jpg http://www.pbase.com/hfillmore/image/82818032.jpg http://www.pbase.com/hfillmore/image/82818034.jpg
PLEASE NOTE: What may appear as marks on the LCD screen are actually reflections. If anyone would needs to see a better shot of the LCD let me know and I'll re-shoot it.
Hi Harvey! I sold this one to Harvey and even though he has little history here I can vouch for him. And if it means anything, I have a lot of positive feeback here, so deal with him in total confidence.
Good luck with your sale Harvey, a great price and if I didn't have the mkIII I would seriously consider buying it back.

Hey Danny ............
Good for you !!! Glad to hear you have the MKIII. If I need a second body in a year or so maybe we can do some business again. Thanks for the kind words Danny. That "n" took the best surfing shots I ever got. Loved the camera, just can't rationlize keeping it. I actually liked the feel of it a little better than the MKIII, seemed better balanced and more comfortable to grip. Oh well. Sorry to see it go.
All received PM's answered. If I didn't answer yours, it is because my box was full. I just emptied it again. Perhaps email would be better: [email protected]
