From an abandoned 'sixties apartment complex, due to be demolished this autumn after many years of decay and haggling over who should pay for taking it down. This place is just full of shapes and textures, just don't go there if you're allergic to dust or mold.
For a little while in my silly 20's I took on the task of cleaning my batchelor brother's apartment for a little extra college money. He was to say the least, domestically challenged.
I notice you shot this at 12mm - can I ask what lens you used? (I only ask because I am trying out some wide angle lenses at the mo', and am waiting for a Sigma 12-24 to turn up and try out.)
On the specific questions, lens used was Sigma 12-24 on a 1DsII. The room was mainly lit from the window but there was also some light coming in through the door from other rooms. It was not really this bright in there, I used one longer exposure for the interior combined with a shorter one to get the greens outside and then mixed the two frames.
This is wonderfully surreal! The window looks like a picture on the wall to me, which makes it all the more interesting. Beautifully done, Anders! Scary bathroom, though.
Aggie and Kim will be visiting this directly...you have been reported to "How Clean is this House"...the BBC show directors should be contacting you soon!
