Are you MKlll early adpoters going to buy the iPhone next week? or have you learned the lesson?

Well if learning my lesson is taking amazing pictures, having an expanded ISO with lower noise, faster frames per second yada yada yada.. heck yeah I would buy an Iphone. But the iphone does nothing I need so I will not be standing in line. I was hesitant to buy a M3 thinking it would not be all that much different than the M2 but I would sell my second body in a heart beat if I could afford and justify another M3. This camera is beyond the hype, it is so fun to use and see the progression. Stand on the sideline volleybob if you think it is that bad, but really it is an amazing camera.

Does that mean I will not have it checked out if some update comes along or a new firmware comes out, nope I am sure it will only improve on my happiness.

You right the M3 was a classic Leica and the M2 was lacking.

Those are the Real M's.....

I am enjoying my 1DMK111 my first experince with a 1D body.

Seven frames a second hand held.300mmf/2.8 is I don't think there is a focus issue with all new bodies.
I emailed Canon. There response was very positive. Willing to pay for a CD to be shipped to them.

Hey Yakim...what would you say if when looking through the veiw finder and you hit stage one of your shutter or back focus buttton, the view snaps into focus and you shoot...when you check your shot after, the image is not focused!??

I'd say that something is very wrong in the camera. I'd send it to the nearest Canon lab.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

Hi everybody,

How about the possibillity to vote again? First of I wanted to see the results, so that's what I "voted". Now I have a MarkIII and later on when it's "tested", I want to vote for a good or a bad focussing copy...
Those thought of having a good copy and turned out to be a lemon, or those who weren't sure can now make a definite vote...? I.e. no possibility to change your statement.

It might be good to start this over or let votes change. I wasn't sure two weeks ago but now I'm convinced that I have focusing problems in AI servo.

Hi

I say restart the poll now that there are more cameras out in the market place. I voted to see the results & since made my purchase.

Cheers,

Paul

Don't know if this one has come along before but it's interesting.

Thank you for the link.
1. It is indeed interesting.
2. It confirmed my thoughts. See the C.Fn III - 3 section.

My understanding of this is very straightforward: Do not release the shutter if nothing is in focus.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.
