My bulldog don't want to pose either. Yesterday i tried to make shots like these and they all where blurred, because he's always on the move... I took this one while he was on a leash. Whit a nice blurry background like this one you can clone it out easily

Question is: where was the leash.... it's behind his (for us) left ear. it went up to the upper left corner...

You should train your dog the way I did to my grandson. A simple command, "DON'T MOVE !"

As you can see, this was a long exposure, almost night. His pupils are extremely dialated, yet his eyelashes are sharp.

That's amazing... was it really like night or did you give him to much sugar or something like that. Those pupils are humongous. hm can't be sugar, otherwise he wouldn't have posed like that... hmm Strange shot Nikon is wicked...

lol, nice try Nick ...next time I'll make my shots a bit blurry .

Now that you've mentioned it, the fact that there are tons of Nikonians here, they don't post much at this thread. Most of 'em post on the other forums, i.e. landscapes, nature&wildlife etc...

Forgive me for posting a quick string of several (I haven't been able to keep up with this thread and don't know if I'm violating good form here...), but I've been working through some of my summer trip to Africa and there are several shots I like.

So many great photos in this thread. Here's my humble contribution, one of the guards at the Grand Palace in Bangkok during the Celebration of the 80th birthday of the King on 5 December.

Last saturday i was at my local camera store... I have no idea what i was doing there, But i shot this. Some one bought a canon to blast away stuff i think. He was preparing his new rig for battle as you can see here. I have no idea what i was thinking, visiting a camera store... sorry for that. Anyhoo, shot with my D80 (really it is a nice camera, it has a DX sensor, i love that) 80mm F2.8 iso1600 1/60...
