Bought this Tamron 24-70/2.8 VC mainly for video, but it's definitely a nice lens for stills. Not quite up to the Nikon version especially in the AF dept, but still very good
i recently retired my origonal d70 from 2004 that was gifted to me in 2010 and picked up a d90 to replace it as the sensor was starting to every so often do the purple bleed like allot of the minolta A1's were doing around 2005-2006.
