I took my grandson to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum on Sunday. I took the D800 with a Tammy 24-70 VC. The D800 was set up; with the Monkey's special sauce. All images straight out of camera with just cropping and resizing.
This was taken from the Aiguille du Midi in France. I did not have any high-quality glass at the time, and this was shot with a Nikon 18-135mm DX lens on a D60.
Been a while since I posted something here. I'm sharing this relatively old image I took back in Jan 2008, using a Nikon D1 camera. I was sorting out some files today and saw a low res image and thought, I should open the original file and replace the tiny image at my Flicker gallery. It's still a marvel to see the old D1 file at hi-res. The image below is stitched using 4 images and using a Carl Zeiss Luminar 25mm f/3.5 lens on a Nikon D1. Enjoy!
