Didn't the Fog City Diner close? Nice shots! Not closed.. they remodeled and now it looks like any other generic restaurant; totally ruined the whole vibe of the place.
This is my absolute favorite that I have taken so far of my 5 week old baby daughter.
I used my old Pre-Ai Nikon 135mm f/3.5 and was trying to get a dreamy, peaceful picture of her while she slept, but with some decent sharpness around the eyes. I shot it wide open at f/3.5. This is straight out of camera, no PP or sharpening; my Fuji X-Pro1. I have been using a ton of old legacy Nikon glass and quite frankly, I'm loving them.
Some wonderful photos, folks. And from what I've seen on the FM forms and others, the dynamic range of the D600 appears to be quite remarkable.
Puts lust in my heart, but no green in the wallet!

Great shot Jason_Brook. Any post processing?
Not much. I knocked the highlights down in the water, warmed up the entire scene, boosted the shadows/clarity on the foreground a bit. Just simple stuff in LR.
From my recent Mission trip to Nicaragua
This is Maria Luisa, she is 84 years old and lives with her daughter and two grandchildren
Spent several days working in her home and was amazed by her strength and energy!
From hand washing clothes to cooking soup over an open fire...it was a blessing to spend time with her.
