Rub a lite coating of honey on them.
How are you using the welding glass? Just hand holding it or do you have some kind of a filter holder rigged up?

Oh I've gotta give that a try. I'd hafto wrap my hands in mitts if this continues!
I had it cut (really cool, machine shop makes precision cut with jets of water for only a dollar) and mounted it on a cokin X-pro holder. The holder then fits to a cut section of a PVC pipe, made fat with layers of gaffers tape. Stays on the 14-24mm by friction. Only usable >20mm onwards though, vignetting appears otherwise. Have a new design in mind, for months now actually, but haven't gotten round to cutting new sections of pipes ;p Real pain with a junior hacksaw
@Zichar, like the shot but am I the only one with a pet peeve about horizons not level unless it's clearly intentional? Would love to see it leveled out and full resolution.

Thanks for the info. The use of filters has held me back on getting the 14-24.
