Much appreciated! This is from just last week in Great Sand Dunes NP though! A whole different beast than Death Valley . Instead of hot you have altitude and much tougher hiking through the dunes because of their size.
I haven't sold any prints. Sure you can be my agent!

That would have been an added bonus for sure, and thanks! No one else ventured the 3+ miles one way to Star Dune on that day. I was left to sit, think, and watch by myself, which I don't mind at all.
For me the gear is a tool. I try and take care of my gear but I am not going to baby it by any means. Rain, snow, or sand I am going do what I can to get the shot, even if it means risking the lenses or bodies. I bought them to capture photos I want not to have them sit all pretty in my bag.

That looks like an amazing place to shoot monochrome, I think you should take a look inside, bring a buddy or a weapon
